About Me

Hi. My name is Mae Oneday. I’m married to Max. Our oldest child is named Anna (pronounced like the Anna of Arendelle) and our youngest are twins, named Linus and Gwen. But those aren’t our real names. I can’t give them to you. Why?

Because I must keep secret the fact that my husband is an atheist.

Our family started out as a company of three: God, Max, and Mae. But somehow, somewhere along the way, Max broke the fellowship. He beckons me to join him but I cannot. I have experienced God in such a profound way on the mountain, there is no turning back now that I’m in the valley.

I exist daily in this state of tragedy—company in ruin. Forced to either give up here in the valley and figuratively wither or move on with God. Move on to a deeper walk with God alone. Move on to stand in the gap for the man I love. Move on to campaign for the heart of our beloved children to be won by God.

It is my hope and prayer that this will become a safe haven for all who endure the agony of a fellowship broken, or one that was never formed in the first place. That together we may move on to find refuge in our God. That we may learn how to move on and fight in prayer for those we love. And that we would move on to see the day a new fellowship is forged.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. John 15:7-9

An aside: I do not want to keep this blog a secret from Max—doing so hurts my heart. But in order to write honestly, I need to know he’s not reading my words. If you know who I am, please keep my identity a secret so I may continue to be as real as possible. Thank you for your support and love.
